Paulrunz

A Nigerian legendary music producer Paulrunz is a Kogi State breed shares a surprising story between two musicians he worked with as far back as 2003, and advices artiste to stop sharing their God given ideas to the public especially when you haven’t launched it .

Paulrunz Austin is also a public relations consultant who existed in music production job since 90s. He was behind Zulezoo's of Africa in 'Chimkpan' the whole album, this means most had enough experience from his work to be candid.

"Sometime in 2003 I recorded an Artist A in Lagos. 6 months after I recorded an Artist B who happens to come all the way from Porthacourt. Something very surprising happened; Artists B sang same song I recorded for Artist A 6months back. You know, Normally as a producer you still have these memories of songs you’ve produced.
So, I have to pause the session so Artist A won’t think I sold his song to Artist B.
Finally, I resolved to let both Artists whom have never meet each other’s meet. Lol,I was now the witness and the judge at same time. They loved the song claiming right to the song.
After few arguments and many story telling the truth was revealed. Artist A actually own the song. Artist B confessed to have bought the some from a friend in PH who happens to be a friend of Artist A.
Make sure you keep your rehearsals private . Stop sharing your God given ideas to the public especially when you haven’t launched it to the market"
